How Often Should You Buy A New Mattress?
Each house has at least one of this. We spend at least one thirds of our lifetime sleeping or resting in our mattresses. One of this can be a little costly so you should know better when we should buy a new one. The first thing to consider when you purchase a mattress is the frequency of its use.
Typically, mattresses in your guest rooms are not that prone to stains or any physical damages as it is seldom laid up on. A mattress in a bedridden person’s room on the other hand, will likely deteriorate faster due to it being used majority of the days. Ideally, mattresses are supposed to be replaced once after every 5 to 7 years. Otherwise, below factors can happen:
Bed critters will develop which can eventually cause skin itch and rashes.
The longer the mattress stays on the bed, the more these unwanted settlers stay there to bug you on your sleep.
Stains, molds and mattress fibers will degenerate which can be unhealthy.
Bacteria will survive and multiply on a dirt space left by your body fluids. Either you change your mattress or you rotate use of it.
Back or body pains will be experienced due to sagging mattress material.
This can be a little disturbing. When you wake up and you have backaches, this will soon develop to something severe, and you surely do not want that to happen.
Sleep is very important as it is the only time you recharge your tired body with whatever energy you have spent before you went to bed. That is the main reason you invest on a good mattress. In order to ensure a good night’s sleep, you invest on your beddings. In fact, rotating mattresses is highly suggested to allow each of it to have a little rest, and for sanitation purposes, at the same time.
